Hi, I’m Chantal Burgess, the owner of Salt & Pepper Homes and sales agent for EXP Realty, based in Montana Park, Pretoria.
I’ve been in real estate since 2013, working with some of the major brands in the industry and earning several company awards along the way. In 2020, I made one of the most rewarding decisions of my career—starting my own real estate agency. Today, I manage over 130 rental properties through Salt & Pepper Homes, supported by a dedicated team who oversee the day-to-day rental management and client service.
In November 2024, I joined eXp Realty to focus specifically on property sales. Since 2020, eXp Realty has shown exceptional growth in South Africa and now has a network of approximately 1,400 agents nationwide. This partnership has allowed me to expand my reach on the sales side, while continuing to deliver specialised rental management services through Salt & Pepper Homes.
Salt & Pepper Homes was born from my absolute love and passion for people. The joy of seeing a family fall in love with a home for the first time, to handing over the keys on occupation day, is what drives me in this exciting industry. I believe that honesty, trust, and professionalism are the foundation of long-lasting relationships, which has resulted in many referrals and repeat clients over the years.
